Chapter 6: Got Game?

Chapter 5: Flashbacks of the Times We Had

Nicki took a long shower hoping to wash away every memory but the more she thought about it the more she couldnt get him from out of her head. As she walked in hearing all the beeping and seeing SB in bed laying completely still almost lifeless. Everything that had happened before had escaped her mind all she could think about was him and his health. She lightly placed the flowers she brought on the night stand closest to the bed and tied the balloon around the vase.

The nurse tapped Nicki's shoulder lightly "Excuse me ma'am may I talk to you for a minute?"

Nicki waking up with her head feeling a little more clear then the night before. "Good Morning and yes you may." Looking down at her cell phone to check the time. It was 9:37 a.m.

"Well i think it's best I tell you now. Safaree Samuels has been hit in the head from the car crash. He was hit by a drunk driver in a head on collision."The nurse said while checking back and forth to her clipboard and Nicki making sure she didnt forget anything.

"Unfortunately he has a concussion, 3 broken ribs. 2 on the left side and 1 on the right. He wasnt wearing a seat belt. He also broke his left leg. All will heal in time with rest and time." The nurse smiled sweetly hoping to lighten the mood before the proceeded. "But unfortunately he has been sleep since after the surgery and we dont see any signs on him waking up any time soon. He is sliding into a light comma. We dont know how long this is going to last but we do know that when he does wake up he might not remember things that happened recently."

Nicki was very concerned but happy she had some answers. "Thank you so much."

The nurse smiled and began walking out of the room."Before I leave is there anything I can get for you?"

Chapter 2: Deciding Point

SB now speeding to the house trying to hurry to get to see Nicki not knowing what to expect but wanting to see her to attempt to make things better. He knew his relationship and his job was on the line. He know that this would be even worst because Nicki was so hard to convince that they should date not wanting to mix business and pleasure. SB was racing just as fast as his heart was. The only that was on his mind was getting to NIcki to make sure she was okay. Deep in her heart she knew that SB would return he just needed time to grow. So when he called this time like he had done times before she figured that he was trying to get back where he belonged as she said.

As SB was racing to the home and running red lights and stop signs he came across a drunk driver who was coming in the opposite direction hitting SB face on. It was a head on collision. SB was driving 65mph and the drunk driver was doing 55mph. Both in the wrong. Both cars completely totaled. The drunk driver was killed almost instantly. It hadn't been looking good for SB either. His car was so damaged he had to wait for firefighters to cut him out of the car. His head had been badly injured. He had to be rushed to the emergency room for surgery on his arm. He suffered from a concussion, 2 broken ribs and and almost a completely broken leg. He needed to be on life support.

Meanwhile Nicki was alone in her room. She couldnt seem to get herself together. She had been crying for countless hours. She couldnt seem to get the phone call out of her head. All should could think about was how could she be so blind not to see it. She was so hurt. Nicki lost for words but manged to get out "What happened?" trying to hold back her tears because she had been crying all night.

"He got into a bad accident. He had to be rushed to the hospital. Turn on channel 10" Diamond crying softly hoping for the best.

"Which hospital is he in? Have you talked to him?" Now crying and hoping she wasn't the reason SB got into the accident. Saying a prayer in her head as she began to get up and put on some yoga pants and a tee shirt.

"He's in James Richards Hospital and no i havent spoken to him but I called the hospital they said he's be sleep and is slipping in and out of a comma" crying harder Diamond tries to explain all she knows to Nicki.

"Alright babe I gotta go. Thank you for the I will keep you updated." Nicki said hanging up the phone fast. As Nicki searched her drawer for some yoga pants and began to put on her boots she started battling herself on should she go or not. She loved SB but this time he really hurt her. She didnt know if she could deal with seeing him after all her hurt and pain. Nicki stopped dressing and uncrossed her leg from her lap from putting on her boot and went into deep thought thinking about the phone call she wasnt supposed to hear. . .

Chapter 1: The Slip-Up

Its 12 o’clock midnight and Sb still didn’t make it home yet. Nicki was getting worried being that she hadnt heard from him since 10:30ish. They had an argument that Nicki regretted by this time now. She had been calling him all night but the phone went straight to voicemail every time. Nicki’s emotions had went from angry to concerned. She had countless thoughts running through her mind. Nicki thought for a while really hard. Nicki called him again hoping that this time he might answer but still no luck. Now Nicki in a rage after some reality checked in that Nicki might be cheating. Nicki called again one more time before all of her emotions took actions.

This time she got an answer but she was lost for words and couldn’t speak. She was too surprised that this time she finally got through to him. She had so many questions running through her head she didn’t know which one to ask first. Then finally she calms down and thinks a little better still upset.

“Omg baby I didn’t mean what I said just come back home” now balling with tears and emotions knowing she hurt SB. Nicki called him again hoping that this time he might answer but still no luck.

"How come you haven't been answering my calls" Nicki says.

SB hurries and tries to press the end button as Sharron starts twisting the handle to the door. Nicki innocently blew a kiss through the phone and blushing bringing back memories of when her and SB first started dating and was in the honeymoon stage. Just as Nicki began to speak she heard a familiar voice in the background. Hearing Sharron and SB loudly indulging in a kiss tears instantly began to fill her eyes.

"Baby why are you dressed leaving so soon" Sharron makes puppy eyes while looking in SB's big brown eyes hoping that would make him stay like it had worked times before. Sharron began to suck on SB's neck which always turned him on.

"Baby I can't stay I gotta go work out some business" closing his eyes and biting his lips as he began to fall weak and rubbing on her lover back.

Nicki now crying silently to her self after realizing what was going on. Now extremely hurt Nicki hung up her end of the phone now crying extremely hard with her face into a pillow feeling the worst pain she had since her and SB had been together.

SB opening his eyes realizing that time was passing by. He looked down at his phone to realizing it was glowing because Nicki just hung up the phone and gets worried and pushes Sharron off of him.

"OH SHIT!" SB raising his voice now scared of how much Nicki might have heard and grabs his sell phone and keys and heading out of the door to Sharron's condo. On the way down the steps moving faster then he could gather his thoughts. Realizing that he would have some much to explain he got in the car fast and fast to the home he shared with Nicki.
