Chapter 1: The Slip-Up

Its 12 o’clock midnight and Sb still didn’t make it home yet. Nicki was getting worried being that she hadnt heard from him since 10:30ish. They had an argument that Nicki regretted by this time now. She had been calling him all night but the phone went straight to voicemail every time. Nicki’s emotions had went from angry to concerned. She had countless thoughts running through her mind. Nicki thought for a while really hard. Nicki called him again hoping that this time he might answer but still no luck. Now Nicki in a rage after some reality checked in that Nicki might be cheating. Nicki called again one more time before all of her emotions took actions.

This time she got an answer but she was lost for words and couldn’t speak. She was too surprised that this time she finally got through to him. She had so many questions running through her head she didn’t know which one to ask first. Then finally she calms down and thinks a little better still upset.

“Omg baby I didn’t mean what I said just come back home” now balling with tears and emotions knowing she hurt SB. Nicki called him again hoping that this time he might answer but still no luck.

"How come you haven't been answering my calls" Nicki says.

"I thought you didnt want any bother so I was gonna give you you're space baby thats all" speaking lowly making up something to save him from hurting Nicki any more. In actuality SB had just got done having sex with Sharron SB's old girlfriend that Nicki always hated. She always felt like they still had chemistry but SB promised he didn't and that he wouldn't be with Nicki if he did.

"Why are you talking so low"Nicki said still sceptical that SB wasn't telling the truth

"I just woke up baby" SB said trying to sound like he just woke up

"Then how come your phone was off?" Nicki said still fearing that he wasn't telling the whole truth

"Baby stop asking me a million questions? You got to learn to trust me. I told you want I was doing stop asking me all these questions"SB said trying to cover up his lies and getting putting his clothes back on after his love making sessions that he had with Sharron all night.

Nicki sighs trying to relax "I'm sorry baby i just been worried about you all night, you know I hate when you don't answer your phone it worries me anything can happen to you and I wouldn't know a thing. Baby just come home."

Stepping into the bathroom to get dressed and now speaks at normal level "Alright baby I'm on my way, I love you" trying to speed up the conversation because he could hear Sharron making her way to the bathroom.

"I love you too" Nicki says feeling much better that he is fine and on his way home.

SB hurries and tries to press the end button as Sharron starts twisting the handle to the door. Nicki was about to hang up when she thought SB had something else to say before she hung up but instead she heard SB calling out for a kiss. Nicki innocently blew a kiss through the phone and blushing bringing back memories of when her and SB first started dating and was in the honeymoon stage. Just as Nicki began to speak she heard a familiar voice in the background. Hearing Sharron and SB loudly indulging in a kiss tears instantly began to fill her eyes.

"Baby why are you dressed leaving so soon" Sharron makes puppy eyes while looking in SB's big brown eyes hoping that would make him stay like it had worked times before. Sharron began to suck on SB's neck which always turned him on.

"Baby I can't stay I gotta go work out some business" closing his eyes and biting his lips as he began to fall weak and rubbing on her lover back.

Nicki now crying silently to her self after realizing what was going on. Now extremely hurt Nicki hung up her end of the phone now crying extremely hard with her face into a pillow feeling the worst pain she had since her and SB had been together.

SB opening his eyes realizing that time was passing by. He looked down at his phone to realizing it was glowing because Nicki just hung up the phone and gets worried and pushes Sharron off of him.

"OH SHIT!" SB raising his voice now scared of how much Nicki might have heard and grabs his sell phone and keys and heading out of the door to Sharron's condo. On the way down the steps moving faster then he could gather his thoughts. Realizing that he would have some much to explain he got in the car fast and fast to the home he shared with Nicki.
